Setting Up My Office
When I got started in my first home based business I set up my office just the same way I had my mortgage company set up. I first started with with my office.
This is where I would be spending 5 hours per day and something that I wanted to be comfortable. Now if you are on a limited budget then you could start out small and add to your office as you go.
I was on a limited budget as far a capital to spend on my Home Business office. I started out first with the things that I needed to operate. I first got a good home office phone with a mute button on it. I called my local phone company and got unlimited long distance (US and Canada). You can usually get this from your local phone company or long distance company for a flat rate unlimited calling for about 35-45 per month.
You want to make sure that you have a good computer with high speed internet (optional but it makes business much easier) You might look at a all in one fax/printer/copier but again this is something that is not required.
Now when the money starts coming in you might want to look and a nice office chair and nice office desk a couch and even a LCD TV. A home office can be a great room in your home and does not have to be a place that you hate to go. Enjoy setting up you home office and good luck in you Home Business.
